I saw an ad for a White S2000 in this neighborhood. But it's a 2000 model, and I'm worried about potential problems. It's about $25,000.

I would put some more cash down for the 2002. Glass window is more forgiving.

That's what I was thinking too. Ah well, I might wait a bit and buy a new one. S2000s don't depreciate that much after all.

Or you could go for a new 2002. They're like $30,000 out the door now. Talk to some salespeople online and on the phone, and go travel on a plane over there. And you can drive home, and break in while you're at it. So you don't have to wait anxiously for the break in point to come
