it's like when i was younger and single and most of my friends had girlfriends i always wondered what that would be like and they would tell me that it's not what it's cracked up to be

and sure enough i had a girlfriend for a short time and they were right

i wouldn't say it was a bad experience, but relationships have good and bad things

and not being in a relationship has good and bad things

so you can compare and make a choice, except that you can't make quantitative comparisons
