yea unless you know someone at a dealer 90% of the time they will overcharge A LOT !
Yeah it's brutal that if I pay 'full price' down there, it's still better than here so I'm happy. I'm down there all the time anyway.

Something's been thrown out for sure... Also, how hard is it to press down on the clutch now? After the modified slave was put back in, it was very noticeably difficult to press down on the clutch compared to stock.

If something is mi-aligned, I was wondering if I would need special tools to put them back into place. If I have to take the car back to the dealer, which I'm praying to Jebus that I don't have to, I have no idea what to tell them when/if I tow it in. Best case scenario would be to have them cover the repair under warranty....
actually my problem was the opposite, my clutch pedal went all the way to the floor and stayed there, no pressure at all. I took mine to the dealer and they fixed it under warranty... just tell them the symptoms and say you think its the slave cylinder... they fixed it for me for like $20...

Oh hell no! Lucky bastard... Didn't they wonder how you knew it was the slave? Or if you modified it?

How does the shifting feel now?
