1820 miles! No way am I going to drive that much with the loud exhaust the S2000 has, and the Tundra sucks up gas like a mother when going up hills. Which won't be a huge problem going there, but coming back will suck! It was enough power, but it could use more, so I'll tell you what. If I buy a new, more powerful truck and a trailer that isn't as much of a POS that I used to drive to Cali. with, I will come.
Make it happen, Trent!

I HATE the Ford Powerstrokes! My step-dad has an F350 Powerstroke and it is MASSIVE. To even get out of the drive-way, it takes a 4-pt turn. I'd like to get a new Dodge Ram Cummins, but due to the price, I will probably stay away. Also diesel engines aren't really broken in until 20,000 miles so I want to get a used truck, and unfortunately, Ford Powerstrokes are so in' cheap here, that makes it harder to dislike them.

Shorter wheelbase, my man.

Powerstroke > Cummins > Isuzu (though I'm a bit biased )

If you like Ford, you'd like Cummins, they are owned by Ford. They will be evertually offering them in the Ford's because Ford realizes they are great motors. The Powerstroke right now is made by International Harvester or something like that.
See, I can get a Ford dirt cheap, I know owners of a Ford dealer and there are so many here that the used market makes em cheap, but after driving the two, I'll take a Cummins.

Ford doesn't own Cummins, and has no controlling interest. Ford and International have a partnership (Ford's F650 and F750 are made by International). International has a contract with Ford to sell VT365s (the 6.0L V8 that is currently marketed as the Powerstroke) through 2008, though Ford enjoys breaking contracts.
