i miss japan.... well, i guess miss isn't quite right since i've never lived there..
i miss visiting japan..i don't know if my liver has quite recovered from 2 years ago (and the bankroll definitely hasn't )

 

I think I am going to have to spend a year in detox when I eventually leave Japan

 

i really think japan has got be one of the highest alcohol consumed countries in the world...
i know my liver wouldn't disagree with that point.

i've been watching coupling again (i have season 1 and 2 on dvd.. not the crap us version, but the uk version)...and they keep referring to the people at the bar as bloody blokes (or something).
so, i figured i'd toss this one to tj and see what he says..

 

No, not old person ..... in English we refer to a guy as a bloke or a geezer (that would be used more in London) ...... for instance if I was telling a story about what happened in Vegas to Wicky, I would say to people "One of the blokes that I was with got so pissed (drunk) that he fell over and cracked his head on the pavement (sidewalk)"
