I'll try to come but can't make firm commitment.
My boss controls my schedule.
Since I'm trying to impress him with my work ethics I don't want to slack off. The reason being I will eventually take over this practice and therefore I should try to show good habits/ethics. I haven't taken a vacation since March 03 (when I started working here). Actually not entirely true b/c I did take a day off to attend an ophthalmolgy meeting (and I met up with him there do discuss biz).
Last year, a few days before Con, he asked me to take the weekend call for him (i.e. stay in town just incase a patient calls) and I couldn't say no. Otherwise I would have treked down along with Mom.

 

I hope bossman believes you should also live a little Ninh good luck
