What's up with S2KI.com? I've got a DSL connection and it still takes forever to view threads, photo's etc. (if at all). Makes it a major pain to navigate, much harder to conduct transactions...I noticed an all time high user rate yesterday...obviously your servers can't handle it. What if every S2KI member, guest, owner chipped in a buck or two and we upgrade...UPGRADE. The site will die if it is FU more often than not which is currently the case. Just a thought.

I know just a bit ago they had problems with a server as well. They may be running one short. Also as you mentioned, a very high rate of users lately.

 

I agree with the slowness...but there are almost 900 users on right now...that's pretty darn rare...what's all the hubbup as of late?

900 users is not alot...I'm guessing your average porn site probably gets that many hits in a couple of minutes...UPGRADE. BTW, I was seriously thinking of becoming a member but I can get blank downloads and "could not generate image" messages for free...

Well....I've browsed the site everyday for almost 2 years. I really don't mind it. 900 users is a lot for this site. Porn sites are setup to handle that high level of traffic. This is a small site still maturing. You should have seen to old software!

I still say kudos to the hard work these guys do....the site has been through many changes!

 

And auto enthusiast sites are not? I'm not dissing the hard work the admins have done...I'm guesssing again, but I'm pretty sure it's an equipment problem. UPGRADE

 

Why don't you buy them new servers if you think upgrades are so necessary? yeah, that's what I thought, bitch.

Now, for the rest of you, check site info forum!! krazik installed a new cache mechanism that dropped server LA from ~50 to single digits on ALL SERVERS!!! wow is all i can say.

Yesterday also saw a new record in visitors on the site at once. Which is FAR from the site dying imho.
