Dude. You owe it to yourself. . . it's the first substantial piece of integrated art I've seen in a while.

I'm still pontificating over at: http://blog.myspace.com/mister1010

That said. . . umm, what'd you think of BusDriver? http://www.myspace.com/busdriver

i had to type this from the taints album cover.

skerik (new orleans april 2003)

summer, back in seattle in between tours, what to do, must have harmony, must be mellifluous, must call craig flory and revive horn thing with organ and drums, but then i run into steve moore and then dave carter, let's call hans teuber. who needs money when you can have FIVE HORNS!! this will be fun for a few weeks until i reunite with the colonel (les claypool), but then by the 3rd or 4th gig SOMETHING HAPPENS, band members are staggering back stage after the show looking confused wondering "what just happened?". did that really happen? i try to ignore it as just another good gig, unfortunately subsequent gigs and rehearsals only improve the music and inspire the musicians to write new material and another band is reluctantly born. i did not intend to create another band all my bands have been born from the same "invisible womb" but rest assured that this music is unmanipulated and a pure accident (james joyce said "mistakes are the portals of discovery") at this point it's time to call mell dettmer create a small control room in the back of the owl and thistle, record live and see what happens. this is what happened, and is still happening. ps if you like this music check out the thelonius monk octet.

.....if you check out this album, B, you will love the songs "Philadelphia, Too Many Toys and Morphine, just to name a few

Yeah, Mando Diao are odd ducks. . . they're quite slicked-up and well-produced on their albums and videos. . . but they're out-and-out wildmen on stage live.
