Hey all! Just thought I'd pop in and say
. I'm still alive and kickin. Things are going very well. I'm on an extended stay in Northen Iraq at the moment. In a city called Mosul. I still fly anywhere from Baghdad on up North. Today was an awesome day. We had a mission to Turkey. We flew a few kilometers from where Syria, Turkey and Iraq all meet up then landed a short flight away in Silopi (I think that's what it was called...lol.) We shutdown and had lunch with some Turkish SF Blackhawk pilots. Got served a nice 4 course meal...traded unit patches with them...nice guys. They are The Yarasala (The Bats). It was beautiful up there...snow capped mountains...and clean. Recently I stayed in Baghdad for a couple nights...the palaces on the the base there are awesome. They are right on these green lakes and the stone carving is very cool.
It's still chilly here...we had snow about a month and a half ago as you saw in the pic that Billy posted. The weather here is really close to what you guys are getting in the NW recently.
We are on the downhill slope at this point. Should be heading back to the islands in the July/August. I can't wait.
I decided I'm going to go ahead and post our company website. We do a really good job of scrubbing it...so I feel comfortable doing that. It is:
www.aco325.com
Hope everyone is doing well...
