Yeah...I know. We all take risks...some of us just take different ones.

Given that it was flying in '95, I'd say that 10 years of (theoretical) air superiority over anything the US could throw at it would be a worthy feat. There are aspects of the Super Flanker that would give a competent pilot an edge over the F-22, as well (multi axis thrust vectoring, superior high angle-of-attack maneuverability). Sadly, only a handful ever got made. Well, all things considered, that was probably a good thing.

but the F-22 does have multi-angle thrust vectoring, it's just a diffiernet system than that of the Flanker.

Plus, you have to FIND the F-22 first!

It's also the first & only (I think) fighter to achieve and sustain supersonic flight without using it's afterburners.

I have to Mom...if I don't I will regret it for the rest of my life. What's the point of life if you don't live?

Correct, but I think what Billy meant by multi-axis thrust vetoring is sideways as well as up and down....right? The F-22 can't do that.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again...

Not to mention, the C-130 is the only aircraft designated to carry and drop a 'Daisy-cutter'...
