Never tried a yellow jacket, Luke. What's that?

JT, well, the real issue here is that people were/are adding Ephedra to their regular diet without any fear. I suppose some people do that with cold medicine too, but that would be misuse, I think. Anyway, I'm really not defending the crusade against Ephedra. My personal opinion regarding drugs / supplements is legalization plus proper instructions and detailed warnings. That's how I feel about ALL drugs (which I realize is an extremely radical point of view). Tax 'em all (mildly) and apply the taxes to education, warning enforcement, and rehab... BTW, I'm running for president.

Yup, the highly addictive nature is what some people think differentiates it from other bad things. I don't buy that. Proper education and rehab are really the way to go, I think. The flip side -- fighting the war against drugs and keeping them illegal -- is a fool's errand, IMO.

Regarding the comment about personal responsibility -- Amen! On this subject, I am a strict Libertarian (although I do think taxing the stuff and applying the money as I mentioned would be necessary).
