Hey RB, do you still do that Vette Run where you hit that cowboy restaurant and then stay @ Harris Ranch?

We stayed there on the way back down from SJ & I was telling Skip about your going there before.

They do have good food ( if you like Beef ) a great store and rooms aren't bad but the smell is an acquired taste

I know what you mean there is a horse farm about a mile away from me and in the summertime occasionally the scent comes our way.

Mom-

??? The Vette run was to Solvang and we always had dinner at the Hitching Post in Buellton, then breakfast at Anderson's Split Pea. I love the Hitching Post. It's my favorite restaurant. Great steaks!! Sadly, the run is no more, post Covid. You're being polite about Harris Ranch. It smells like feedlot shit, especially in the morning. Also great restaurants.

When I picked up my S this afternoon they had a C-7 Z-06 convertible in service getting it ready for sale. They fired it up sounded good!

Harris Ranch was coming back from Sonoma -- both times. The organizer of the Corvette Father's Day Weekend Run to Solvang hung it up. It was cancelled once by fires, then the next year by Covid. No one seems interested in starting it up again. Too bad, I really enjoyed those outings. Most of them drove back the same day, but we always spent the night in Solvang, screwed around in Solvang for the rest of the day, then had dinner at the Hitching Post and breakfast at Anderson's. There's another Corvette group that was involved, The Block of Orange, but they're a bunch of smart ass punks. I don't want to have anything to do with them.
