I never heard the term 'pop' until i went to Ohio and West. People around here in MD, PA, VA all say soda

Hell yeah. CA was apparently the last state to get numbered exits. I loved it. You actually had to NAME the damn exit. It was A PLACE. Give us 30 years, and we'll be as half-cocked as everywhere else.
