my friend Sam who i have known for like 10 years, was travelling back to LA from Jordan (where we went to high school). he lands in NY and goes through baggage check and all that. He gets pulled and interrogated for no reason whatsoever.. they start asking him questions: where are you from, why you travelling, etc... keep in mind that Sam doesn't even have a middle eastern passport, only USA passport...
"so what do you do sam? where do you go to school? what are you studying?" this is when sam gets frustrated, turns to the dude and says: "i'm going to flight school mother f0cker, wth. i'm a comp sci major"
ok, sam is hte nicest guy you will ever meet, and he doesn't look like a terrorist or anything.. they're just antagonizing because they can...
it's ridiculous. if you follow the US's track record, you'll see that there's always an ethnic group taht the US singles out.. at one point it was the ITalians, at another point the Japanese, at yet another point the Cubans, Russians.. etc.. there's always someone.. and it's even reflected in American films.. the bad guy in movies is always who the US is vying against at that point in time.. if you still dont' understand what i mean, i'll be happy to elaborate... and i say that kindly, not in any way condescending hun.
