To be honest Peter, you do get used to them after a while .... but today's felt somewhat larger than normal ..... to the extent that when I got back to my desk I had 6 e-mails from friends saying "did you feel that? Is everyone okay !!" ..... normally everyone just ignores them !!

We don't seem to have had that many recently, but a couple of years ago, we seemed to have about 1 or 2 that you could feel every week during the summer .....

According to the seismic web sites we have 3 or 4 measureable earthquakes every day ......

 

They must have some really sensitive seismometers!

 

They do Jack, aparently they can even identify when one of the big sumo guys hits the deck ....

 

What do you guys keep doing that causes all these earthquakes?!?!!?

My conspiracy theory is that it is the Japanese government trying to move the islands further away from North Korea .....
