when someone calls you by your Name
as in a clerk
I do it makes it so personal to have gone thru der line
& I don't mean like @ Safeway where they were told to
butt when they've taken the time to learn it

A long time ago my dad taught me (by example) that it's nice to address everyone by their names - basically anyone with a name tag...As I got older, I figured those are people who probably really appreciate it, since they're usually working jobs where they're subjected to people's pissiness more than they would prefer. 
That seemed long-winded.

I wuz referencing this gal well 2 actually one works in yeah the Grocery store so yeah she may have learned it obviously by my check but she calls me it every time and yeah she says Gina
I don't get that often 
more that otha name dat starts w/P or Mom so its kinda nice to hear it once n awhile
I'm like oh yeah dats me 
Now the Safeway robotic programing deal I no likie
its 2 fake IMO and they are/were told to do it 
K you think you were long winded I'm not done YET
so derz this Courtesy Clerk< nice name for a Bagger @ Safeway and he's a RARE speciman
explanation> he's prolly what you'd consider a wee bit old to be shaggin buggies for one butt think derz a reason...he's how do I put this
without it sounding bad maybe he's bout 3 didgets shy of mom's IQ ( get the picture ) he's the most polite thing on the planet! 
kinda cute and is from Aussiland so haz the 
accent! He knows he's sposed to use the customers Name but neva members um so EVERY AND I MEAN EVERY time you hear him ask as they are gettin ready to leave... " HOW do you pronounce yur Last Name? " so see he's gettin an A on his report card without even taken any tests
he truely is adorable though and SUPER friendly

I agree the fakers aren't cool.
People like the courtesy clerk are maybe not the brightest, but being genuine goes a long way.
(Dontcha know I might've been more long winded too, but it's early and I'm not fully awake yet!)
