What about the East Coast?
Nah, I have no desire to move to the East Coast. All my family lives in California, my girlfriend and the majority of her family lives in Washington as do most of my friends. Plus in general, West Coast law enforcement agencies pay better than the East Coast.

Good Luck Bobby.....errr Jason... whatever you go by.. kinda like Billy aka Jeff...

Life is seeming to be a bitch lately to a lot of my friends too. I guess its the tough times that make us stronger and appreciate the good times. I'm glad to have a lot of 's as friends...
Thanks bro, things are going good so far with Snohomish County. Today I found out that of the 500 or so people that tested, 300 passed and moved on to the polygraph. Out of the 300 who took the polygraph, only 15 or so passed including myself! Talk about eliminating competition. And out of the 15 who passed the polygraph, at least 2 of them haven't passed the Physical Abilities Test which means they can't get an oral interview until they do. From what I understand, they plan on hiring 20 officers. I just need to pass the pyschological exam and kick some ass on the oral interview. I'm feeling confident, I got an 88% on the written test and maxed out all categories of the Physical Abilities test. I can apply some lessons learned from the Washington State Patrol oral interview to Snohomish County and hopefully make a good impression.

Ashes to ashes,
dust to dust,
if it weren't for women,
your pickle would rust.
