My Japanese is VERY poor, but I studied for about 6 or 7 months a couple of nights each week ....... my problem was that I didn't practice ..... even though everyone I work with is Japanese I am too embarrased to try speaking Japanese to them

Yeah, my English isn't too bad ....

 

that's good. we get tons of japanese customers and not only do they speak their language well, they seem to be very proficient in EngRish too.

 

I work for an overeseas division here, so everyone in this division has to speak Engrish .... Some are obviously better than others, but all speak better English than I can speak Japanese

 

oh. i love it when customers speak engrish. sometimes i find myself speaking louder than i have to in order to convery the message.
