I actually had a voicemail from the Seal Beach PD on my phone when I got in... I was, shall we say, a bit nervous.

I work in SoCal at ~15 feet above sea level



I was expecting worse than a kind notice of potential tsunami.

 

I did not receive any tsunami warning did see that on the news though and all the people as to what they were supposed to do


DId receive the warning for the FLASH FLOOD's scared the crap outta me and why do I get that when I didn't request getting it

 

How did you receive the warning about the flash floods?

 

My phone was lying on the counter and all of a sudden it started whaling a LOUD beep and a strange voice is telling me about it

I see them on the TV butt figure that's the local channel's doing
maybe BB knows??

 

That is freaky! There must be some kind of emergency notification system. Did C-6 get anything?

 

Yeah he got me freaking out at my phone scaring the crap outta me

 

Phones can be like a Face Space lurker at times I don't even have the tracking on and when we were house hunting 2 years ago & got close to the border past SD it sent me a text that read WELCOME TO MEXICO shirley it was the Verison dealio letting me know I would be considered roaming there but STILL kinda creepy freaky
