Mike, yes, there is emissions testing - kinda. We have to pass state inspection every year, except for cars 25yrs and older, which are exempt from emissions. All they test for on those cars are simple shit like safety, lights, etc.

BTW, Texas is not NASCAR land - that's Florida.

It also has to pass noise test. I think max. decibel reading is like 95dB. But the place I go to doesn't care about that.

also, what year is the car? depending on year of the car, some people fly through emissions..
then, there is the "shady" method.
buddy of mine who is like a father to me. C5 w/lingenfelter goodies up the ass...
focker managed to convince the ohio dmv that this is a collector car. now he's got a collector plate (so he doesn't have to a front license plate, and he's emissions-test exempt).

I had a 69 Mustang with a 351 Cleveland with a full Shelby blueprint. We lived at the beach in a two story building. When I came home and pulled into the carport, Mrs. Raptor said the whole building shook violently and things flew off the shelves. God I loved that car.

I can do that!

the only reason the 3" exhaust is there is so the exhaust gases don't shit up the engine compartment and underside of the car. they dump right before the rear axle...

if i had fender headers, or side exhaust, then i'd run straight from the headers... but that would look gay on a '72 camero
