Well i started hooking up with this girl i know, and tonight we decided to go on a date. Nothing formal, just the hang out at someones house. It was icy out, so i told her i would come and pick her up so i could meet her parents.

Thats right, meet the parents. This is perhaps the one thing i hate the most. Meeting parents for the 1st time. Its such an awkward experience, first impressions mean a lot in my book.

So im driving down her street, looking for her car in the driveway, and suddenly i hit some snow on the road. I was like kool, this is fun, untill...I got stuck. Im like WTF, so i pop it in reverse to try to get out, and im still stuck. 5 minutes go by of D to R...D to R. Finally she calls me up.

"Are you in a white car?"
"Yeah im stuck, give me 5 minutes...wheres your house?"
"Your right in front of it"
"SOB, this sucks"

Needless to say after 10 more minutes of trying to get unstuck, her father came outside to get me out. I never met the man before, but he did get me out. He shook my hand after it was all done and introduced himself to me.

What a night. I definately made a good first impression, hes either gonna love me or hate me. I hate meeting parents

no lol. this is a new one. we went to high school togethor, and she hated me. She said she should have gotten to know the real me back then.

The one chick that keeps bothering me is on that im her first love kick. Its starting to piss me off, so i said F it. Im still nice to her, but im not waiting around for her to make her mind up about a relationship. I need to play the field untill the right one comes around, but tonight was nice, their is posibility

You worry too much man It never matters if the parents like you. It's helpful if they do, but the girl has to like you. How did the "date" after the "meeting the parents" go?

 

It went very nice...Theirs a lake in front of my house, she wanted to go for a walk in the snow around it. It was sappy n romantic, but i was kinda in the mood for that. We had fun.

 

Oh dude... that's nothing.

I'm sure in....she would not have wanted to be alone (walk around the lake) with you if she was not interested....
