Alfas were nice. They lasted in the US a lot longer than Fiat, which stopped selling in 1983 or so. My spider was an '82 which had fuel injection and (surprisingly) worked nearly all the time 
Carlo, you're right... Getting them here in the US now is well nigh impossible. However, with the recent roadster revolution, we're in such fat city that Alfa and Fiat would be ignored I'm sure.
