Here's a to you being that guy someday (layoff notwithstanding). I know that I, as an engineer (not a BSc (Hons) MRICS P.W.A. folk singer such as yourself), will never have the kind of $$ to own cars like that. There's always the possibility of my company going nuts with an IPO, but those days seem to be gone. The best I can hope for is a comfortable retirement someday, and many wonderful drives in cars like my S.

However, even with a few letters after my name like that, I doubt that I will EVER be in a league even close to there !!!!!

He actually made most of his money through IPO's. About 7 years ago in Hong Kong, when the markets were just rocketing, he was a stock trader ..... he also did a lot of personal trades on all of the IPO's that were issues, which, it seems, made him more than his salary !!!!!!

I think those days are gone for everyone now though !
