FACT. Women tend to be caretakers and take on more responsibility than men in that area. As a result, they'd probably feel more obligated to answer because they probably feel people are depending on them.

And because men just don't listen, so how could they even hear the phone ringing/vibrating.

I'm going to go with CRAP because, how do you even do such a study? Through self reporting? They get pulled over more?

People are remarkably honest when given anonymous questionnaires. As long as the sample is large enough* and the participants are not self-selected** you can get a good idea of how people behave.

* 1000 is the bare minimum, ideally it's more like 5000-10000 so you can break things down into more detail. The national high school drug use survey is a good example, except the sample size there is tens of thousands. http://www.drugabuse.gov/publication...l-youth-trends

** My favorite was Playboy's annual Sex Survey. Any subscriber could fill it out, but the only ones who did tended to be the hyper sexual people who wanted to brag. So the average sex frequency was an absurd number like 25 times/month (that's average... hah!). The sample size was something like 2000 people out of Playboy's 1.5 million subscribers.
