The cold fact is snowblowers cause more injuries than any other type of power tool. Remarkable, since they're only used during the winter!

Kinda the same thing happens with lawnmowers, but lawnmowers don't jam nearly as easily as snowblowers, and likewise are only used seasonally in most places. Plus newer mowers have warnings and safety switches designed to prevent stupidity.
Whereas when people are using circular saws and the like, they're mentally thinking "holy crap this thing will f@#k me up if I don't pay attention!"
