John, good to see you're safe. The Thread is a wee bit pissed off at you at the moment...
Ideas? Well, we can either go with the approach of trying to befriend him (Machiavelli would like this one) or we can can take the approach of killing the little bugger again.
The problem with the second is that there's no guarantee that he'll stay dead this time either.
Not to preach, but you DO realize that you might have bitten off a little more than you were ready to chew, don't you?

You're right Brant I wasn't using my head.
This whole thing is a nightmare. I can't eat, can't sleep... of course it's only been since breakfast, but I've been wide awake at meetings today.
Maybe we should click our heels together 3 times or something....

well, since you DO realize your part in this and just wish to make things right, I think we should all band together and seriously figure out how to handle the situation with The Thread.
I would understand his angst towards you, John, but he has taken to attacking other "innocent" parties (I do use that term relatively loosely with this crowd) and that simply cannot be allowed.
What should we do, committee?

I would like to propose this course of action. We should continue to work on a long-term course of action with regards to The Thread.
In the meantime, I think that the majority of us should try to minimize confrontation with The Thread as well as not fueling the fire.
Mr. Edwards, I would advise avoiding direct contact with The Thread until we have a solid plan in place.
