Mate if I could get the time off work and afford to I would be over for the summer. :D

As much as I hate to say it we need a bad winter here, still looking at facing further drought restrictions soon. This draught has been going for seven years now I read the other day. :eek:

Actually I think it's more a case of lack of planning on behalf of the state government.
Melbourne has been growing rapidly for the last 10 or more years but no efforts have been made to increase resources to accomodate the growth........ :grrrrrrrr: :angry:

Well, there's no water shortage out here this year, Peter. After all the snow this winter... Where I live, though, there's no centralized water system. My town of 7000 has 5 wells that feed us fresh, clean water.

The ironic thing is that 1/3 of the land area of my town is flooded with a reservoir that gives water to Boston... And our water comes from wells!

We used to call one of the University of Melbourne guys Saddam.

I heard he got a job in the UK with a defense company. So you see, Saddam *IS* developing weapons of mass destruction :eek420: :eek420:
