If you haven't tried it... TRY IT!
It is so awesome. I went to mount st helen and situated myself so the view was the same as the webacm and figured out (very likely) where the cam is.
The sat images are layed over a 3d map of the world and some major cities are in 3d... buildings included (try San Fran)
