I'd go with something even more conservative than the S03's. I use Kumho Ecsta 712's, and I am very happy with the performance in the rain. I'll know how the snow performance is come Friday

Martin, sparky burnouts!!

Jim, I have no great advice with respect to tire replacement for the S. You know who's a maven for winter driving -- xviper, up in Calgary. PM him and I'm sure he'll have some advice or point you at the right threads. He posts a lot elsewhere on the site.

I do know that I've been blown away with the snow performance of Blizzaks that I bought about 5 years ago for my wife's car. Very impressive. If I were gonna keep the S on the road, I'd be looking for those.

You're right that down in Maryland you really might not really need snows. Tough call, Jim.

Drive safely, guys!!

DC winters are nasty...not so much snow but mostly ice and slushy mix crap....I'd drive my S in the snow but not in that mix that gets on the roads in DC.

I thought this was a thread.

You whores are so easily distracted.

Ever since visiting Kona, I've gotten addicted to Kona blend coffee. True Kona is too expensive (like $10 for an 8 oz bag of beans)

Of course in England, it was coffee with milk, please. Or tea. They do have great tea.

WRT that whole snow business - my sympathies.
