The Young Ones was a British Comedy about four college students that aired on Mtv back in the 80's. They had a punk, geek, gangster and a hippy. Rik Mayal (Drop Dead Fred) played the geek. I haven't seen the other three in much else except other British sitcoms here and ther. Outrageous show, though.

Soap, I forgot abour that one

Sopranos has got to be one of the best series ever out of the states
The Young Ones was great as well ... that was filmed in the same City that I was at University in .... we used to drink in one of the pubs that they used on the show
The Soprano's guy...lead guy...I forget his name...
Played hardball with HBO this year....
He was making $400k a episode and his contract was up for renewal...
or maybe it wasn't, he had a year left on his contract...
Kelsey Grammer=1.6 mil an episode (Frasier)
Everybody Loves Raymond=1.8 mil an episode (forget his name) new highest paid guy in TV (Formally Grammer)
Cast of Friends=1 mil each an episode
Soprano's Guy said FU, I don't care if my contract has another year....
Settled for 800k an episode, to be renegotiated next year...
Hollywood....
