Harry Nilsson wrote a musical story called "the Point" about Oblio and Arrow trying to find a "point" for Oblio because he didn't have one. The lyrics above are from that story.
Harry also wrote "Everybody Talkin' (at me)" from the Midnight Cowboy. If you don't know that song I'm just sorry for you. He also wrote the theme song to "the Courtship of Eddie's Father" but only the olds here will know that one. (People let me tell you 'bout my best friend....)
