Finally!
O.K. as I stated I stepped out of the corner today to run errands in the big city. Also as some of you know I have been looking to buy an S for quite a while actually I have been pricing them since last fall. May is my goal to get one so I have been pricing them everywhere. After hitting a bunch of dealers In R.I. and Mass. and getting a lot of b.s. from them I had just about giving up. I actually almost bought a used 911 last week that I found in R.I. I had a dealer here in Vt. that I had talked back and forth with by e-mail since last fall and they had actually sent me a follow up e-mail last week while I was away. but I had never been there. This dealer also sells Toyota and I was going there to get parts for my truck today anyways so I figured I would pop over. So I go in find the person I had been talking to on e-mail she asks if I want to test drive I said no I want to talk price. So she shows me the sheet with the invoice price says make an offer I do she says let me take it to my manager badabing bada boom done deal! I got my goal price. It was too easy tho........Oh yeah and to the dealers that laughed in my face when I told them I wanted one below M.S.R.P.
So I didn' t order it because I just finished my temp job this week so as of now I am incomeless. But I have a job offer that I am going to call on Monday and as soon as I get a job I can get the ball rolling. They only have a silver in stock and I want red so they said they can work a deal with another dealer to get me my formula red. If everything works out for me next week I can give them a deposit and I would have the car by late May early June.
Like I said I didn't place the order yet but hopefully I will next week if the job sit. pans out. As soon as I do you will see in my sig. incoming 03 formula red! I gotta come up with a name for big and little blue's brand new baby brother.
