Fires in WA as well. Not as bad as CA but it has been smoky the past couple of days.

The fires are getting bigger and more destructive. The Bobcat Fire near us is now over 105,000 acres and only 15% contained.

We have one that started here in Vermont over in Killington. It's nothing close to what is happening out west but in reading how they described it as burning a foot actually underground I can see how they can spread so far and so fast.

It’s bad once it gets to that point where the fire department starts the brush/field containment scenarios, instead of just putting it out. Doesn’t matter where you are.

Last run up to Big Bear for 2020

saw some of the devastation from the fire,














interesting to see HOW the fire maneuvered around up there one minute this was on the right then turn a bend and it was fine.

& they're still busy spraying the green growing stuff ( not sure what its called ) on the low edges to help retain mud when it starts ing up there.



sadly there will be many a mudslide this year due to the foliage gone
