Right..I guess the Fudge Packers have no class then either....Favre and a bunch of Pack starters were still in the game as well

Favre sat out the whole 4th quarter, giving up his pursuit of a personal record. Ahman Green sat the 4th quarter so as not to risk reinjuring himself. The backup QB came in and showed he can make a few plays, but the game was out of reach long before that.
Philly, meanwhile, comes into the 3rd quarter leading by 32, and immediately comes out throwing the ball. I thought only Indianapolis was that tasteless. This isn't college, winning by 40 isn't any better than winning by 10. The coaching staff continued to call long passing plays and run the score when it clear the game was all but over, even though injury to McNabb or Westbrook would jeopardize the team's chances of winning the super bowl (which they probably are the favorite at this point). McNabb and Westbrook were still in the game when it was 44-3 in the 4th quarter.

I'm not sure how you can even compare the two, Mike. Trying to score a few points when you're getting embarassed is not the same as running the score when you've clearly won.

Sure let Brett Favre (one of the best comeback QB's ever) see that you have written off the game/ his team with over 25 minutes to play? Thats a long time for him to work his magic! That and I am sure Andy had beating Green Bay BAD on the mind
That was my whole point - he put a personal issue ahead of sportsmanship (which is pretty thin in the NFL as is), class, and his team's super bowl prospects.
With the Philly defense playing so well last night, even Favre wouldn't have had much of a shot... and realistically, rest them in the 3rd quarter, if GB gets back within 14 or so put them back in.
