I'm getting there. I can do pretty good with D, C, and B class cars. The faster A class and most of the S class cars are still hard to drive. I've got about 10 hours in the Saleen S7 trying to tune out the snap oversteer to little avail. The R class cars are ok but I usually have to put more downforce than I'd like.

That sounds like too mcuh work. Do you actually like using the wheel? I think it adds a lot to the gameplay.

I'm faster with the wheel. If it had a center indent I think it'd be great. I also need to find a table to set it on - resting it on my legs doesn't work because my legs move to operate the pedals.

Also, the only reason I spent all that time with the S7 was to do the free runs on XBL... none of the other S class cars are close for most of the tracks, even my 1000 HP Enzo.

They're inexpensive. You might want to consider the ones that go over your lap instead of the floor standing type.

The lap-type have short legs to give you a little room above your legs. It might place the wheel too close, however.

I haven't played at all. Before I left I was trying to finish Doom 3.
