Look at my SIG. that's what I think of treehuggers.

 

Alright we'll call it more of a story than a rant. Yesterday I went for a ride on my mtn. bike. on a trail I use in the winter for snowmobiling and its wayyyyyy out in the boonies. I have to travel 10 miles on a logging road just to get to this trail. So I'm at the trail which is also a logging road I get up about 2 miles on it and off to the right in the trees I see someone sitting high up on a rock staring at a tree trunk. I was like WTF?? Keep in mind there are no side trails off this road, so I look just to make sure this dude wasn't dead, and I notice he's got all the hippy clothes on. So I continue up the road then I see a row of about 20-25 cars parked on the side of the road they all have bumperstickers on them abolish war, etc. I saw one on a LINCOLN that said no war for oil! I'm thinking how much oil does this person think their lincoln using?!!! Hypocrisy gets my blood boiling and these people are all hanging out camping with their slogans etc but I bet if you take their pot away and make them WALK everywhere and get a job their attitude would change.

 

inhg assholes. I used to write environmental impact reports on, among other things, outer continental shelf platform drilling offshore Santa Barbara County. I'm not for offshore oil drilling. Repeat, am not. As environmental professionals we were doing our jobs, presenting the positive and negative impacts of projects. These ing treehugging hippies would come to public meetings when we were making our poresentation and just be rude and disruptive as shit. They didn't know what the they were talking about -- not a clue. I wanted to step down from the witness stand and cold cock more than a few of those assholes.
