G, I assure you, I had my "Momish for Dummies" translator handbook right here. Best to Skip!

Diggler, thanks man! Unfortunately, the pool is starting to have issues... The walls are deteriorating, and the coping is likely to give way soon. But, hey, the thing was built in 1978, and it's done it's duty for king Chazmo and country.

Hey Chaz!

You've inspired me as well but after removing the cover I think it will be a week or so before I post any pics. Tried out a mesh cover for the first time this past winter and the results are algaeoosky.

Plus I've had to fix two leaks and replace the spider valve.

Hey Mike!

Yeah, I like the good old-fashioned cover because it definitely does a better job of keeping the pool clean. It took exactly one day for the filter to get the water clear and blue. Not bad.

OTOH, I really do think the mesh (safety) covers offer that safety factor of someone (or something) not drowing in the pool. That's definitely a plus.
