but i lucked out last night at 10pm when i stopped at the shell station coming home from work to fill up my pathfinder for $3.01 for 87 octane and while i was filling up the price went up to $3.09 got in just by a hair (all the other gas stations were already at $3.09) :suckers:

 

Try $1.09/L. Premium (91 octane) is usually about 10 cents more. I'm too lazy to do the conversion.

I remember at the height of the gas prices a couple of summers ago, I paid $1.44 for premium.

 

$3.01/gal for regular?

The cheapest I have seen around here is $3.27/gal for regular... and that's at the shady-looking Arco station.

 

In Chicago, Premium is close to $4, and regular is around $3.70. Whew.

$3.09 for premium in NJ. Don't pay attention to what regular runs because neither of my cars will burn it.
