There are crop circles? I was thinking about looking for them, but I didn't know where to look.

You can't
You'll have to play with the longitude/latitude numbers in the URL to try and center the map properly. You can use one of my URLs as a template (I copied it from KenS2K's post, which I'm guessing is from googlesightseeing.com).

Lame. I'm going to be contacting my buddy at Google about this.
The irony is that one of the ways to get lat/long is using MS TerraServer
http://terraserver.microsoft.com/default.aspx
... the product that Google is competing with when adding sat views.
ANother good tool for finging lat/long for street addresses is Maporama

My office
If this works correctly, you can see my S parked at the south entrance to our building (the one in the center of this pic, I hope) That's I696 to our South, Twelve Mile Rd to our North, and Wayne St. to our West. A few blocks East on 12mi is Roosevelt's, where I'll be, shortly.

Drag and zoom accordingly. When you have the map how you want it, click the link in the top right labled "link to this page".
For example, I start with a map of fort wayne, drag and zoom and end up with an image of our test track by clicking that link.
