Hard to blame Sato for the hit... maybe hard to blame anyone. It was the second corner on the start of the race... eveyone was trying to get around the tight corner and running two cars wide. Sato was maybe 6 feet ahead of JV. Suddenly he checked since a car ahead was cutting in on his line. JV closed the gap to about 1 foot and Sato checked again. Bump.
JV did a couple of laps and had to come in for a new front. Sato came in after a lap for work on the rear.
