Go Danica!
Danica Patrick allegedly slapped Jaques Lazier as the two drivers rode in an ambulance to the infield care center after their cars crashed on the 186th lap of the Toyota Indy 400 at California Speedway. Patrick's engineer, Ray Leto, told a reporter that Patrick slapped Lazier, but a Rahal Letterman Racing publicist said Patrick only tapped Lazier on the forehead and said, "You need to use your head."
Neither Patrick nor Lazier was available when news of the incident began to spread following Sunday's race, which was won by Dario Franchitti. But the damage -- and the insults -- had already been tossed out for public consumption.
Seconds after the crash, Chip Ganassi, owner of Lazier's car, accused Patrick on live TV of causing the crash. "That girl's been pinching him down all the time. She's been pinching him below the white line."
Minutes -- and apparently a slap -- later, Patrick fired back at Ganassi.
"He's had how many millions of dollars in damage at that team?" she said. "Yeah, OK. I think they've crashed out of every race."
Patrick said Lazier's No. 10 Target Chip Ganassi Racing Panoz-Toyota moved up into the left side of her No. 16 RLR Panoz-Honda, and that Lazier had been troublesome throughout the race. The two drivers were battling for top-10 position at the time of the crash.

WTF are you doing watching Tony Danza? Even in my most hungover-from-too-much-beer-tequila-crown-glued-to-the-couch coma I'd still find the remote and change the channel!
