Ahhh !!!!

They don't LOOK bald though ???? there is loads of tread depth left on them ....... and I checked the pressures last night, only about 2lb down all round ....... and still sliding today ..... strange indeed !!!!

James....use the wear bars. If the remaining tread depth is equal to or less than the wear bars then you need new tyres. I tend to wear out my fronts almost as often as my rears. I would check the bars on both. Some people can get away with replacing their fronts at lot less often than I do. Don't forget that the inside might be more worn out than the outside so check the bars all the way across the tyre (don't forget the ones in the middle too!). If they aren't wearing evenly across the tyre, you will most likely need an alignment done as well. Hope that is the advice you were looking for, or I just got suckered into responding to a joke.
