Sorry you didn't get to go boardin' with the babes... As for me, skiing today was chilly, but fun. I'm back home now and getting ready to crash so I can get up at 6am and be out the door by 6:30am to hit the slopes again...
As for a ski/snowboardcon, there has been some rumbling about having WhistlerCon up at Whistler in British Columbia (aka Canada
) either this winter or next. It's only a 4 hour drive or so for me, so I'm game...

actually, you can probably answer this, but what is blackcomb? adjacent mountain?
7 day package flying out of detroit is about $900 (not including food and "beverages").

Whistler/Blackcomb is a twin mountain resort. Same base village two different mountains. Blackcomb is often considered the more advanced mountain, but both are a total kick in the pants. Been a couple years since I've skied there and I'm hoping to get up there once or twice this season...

i would love to go out there.... maybe next year i'll get the to finally go.
this year i only have one ski trip planned...and that's in NY next month (same weekend you're going to ledfoots birthday, actually)

You'd find runs you'd like on either hill. Next year I'm considering taking up boarding, so I'd definitely be lookin' for the bunny slopes!
