A great Long Beach GP
A great Paul Tracy win. The historic cars really brought back the early GP years (1975 on) for me. No rain -- rain was forecast for Sunday all week. It was raining at 6 AM when we left the house, it rained last night, and it's pouring now. Thank you, Lord. Three long days of sun, beer, and methanol fumes -- I'm wiped out. Now I get to drill in Huntington Beach at 7 AM today and generate huge quantities of mud. I don't care, I'm happy.

Yesterday I drilled in Huntington Beach, which is an hour+ away from Pasadena. I told Mrs. Raptor all day on Sunday, over and over again, that if the rain held off for the GP, It could rain all day Monday and I wouldn't care. I lied. After three days of sun, beer, and methanol fumes, by Monday AM I was feeling wiped out. All I wanted to do was lie down. My geologist said "You were looking pretty bad, there for the first hour." Then I straightened up and I was OK. However, it poured all day long, just came down in buckets, while we drilled. It was
