That's what we saw, but you can't imagine how wonderful it was through a big scope.

The eclipse was magnificent, beyond magnificent! This was our 7th eclipse, but the first we've driven to and we've seen the first through the the big scope. What a difference! The sun was the size of a small dinner plate and sharp as a tack. I think I got some good pics, too. I'll post them soon. Southern Utah, including Zion NP, was beautiful. What a great trip!

I can only imagine what it's like to view some type of space/universe madness happen at where you were, where there's no city lights f@#king with the sky.
