My dad already ordered 4 sets of track tires for my S2000. That's 3 sets of my normal Yokohama A048S plus one set of Hoosier full slicks, as per Jim's advice.

Also, I have a Spoon head gasket (slightly thinner for higher compression) and a TODA flywheel on order. Combined, they should noticably sharpen the throttle response and add 1 or 2 hp, while still being legal for B Stock. Actually, they're NOT legal, but what they don't see, they don't know.

I also have some Pagid B brake pads on the way.


I can't decide if I also want an X-brace. It should stiffen up the front end significantly, and refine the steering, but is not allowed in B Stock...

I'm still trying to think of what else I can do, while still being "stock."

 

I think I'll just mess with OBDII, hopefully pick up a few horses.

Hey now, I'm a damn good driver. I can pass the LS1s, Mustangs, WRXs, etc. through the infield, but I just get passed back on the back straight!

 

Well, get a supercharger!

 

Well, I could just as easily go with an aftermarket suspension, and bolt-on engine mods, but then they'd put me in Advanced A! And even modded I cannot keep up with modded LS1!

Either way, I am NOT going FI!

 

Perhaps I'll just go all out and forget about SCCA. I'll just tear it up at open track events.
