3. Buy a frying pan

4. Coat pan with butter

5. Place pan over heat

6. place bacon in pan

7. wait until bacon is no longer pink

8. Let cool (enough)

9. Eat bacon

10. Drink grease

I take serious issue with this step. this is by far the most complicated and intricate part of preparing bacon for human consumption.

There is no 'waiting'.

Bacon does not cook itself.

It is as a King, to be waited upon, by hand and by foot... stroked by gentle heat, bathing in it own succulent juices, until perfectly satiated by tender and loving hands... carefully placed on a bed of the finest paper towels to rest... rest... rest sweet bacon....
