For me, I can get a much better sense of what the car is doing in frist person. In 3rd person, I have to look at the car which means I'm not really looking downtrack.

I never cared for driving games before because it never felt like driving a car. First person makes it really feel like I'm in a car. I might have to pick up a full-sized wheel now.

I'll have to try it when I get forza. I'm too used to playing 3rd person in PGR2.

I stumbled upon it by accident. I hit a button which changed the view. Then I realized, "hey, this is better."

3rd person is too hard for me to control. i feel like i'm controlling the rear of the car and everything gets so slippery and slidy. i've always used cockpit view if there is one.
