Now that would be cool , but I heard that they are not too keen on Canadians becoming President of the US ....

 

Not sure about veepee, though, James. Yes, the prez has to be US born, whatever that's worth.

 

Surely the VP must be born in the US as well, since he automatically becomes P if something happens to the P, doesn't he?

 

That chain of command goes further than just the veep, James. Honestly, I'm not sure. I think, for example, that the president has to be 35 years old or he can't run; I don't think that rule holds for veep... Could be wrong. I slept a lot in history classes.
