Well aside from my little "episode" listening to Auschvitz remembrances, it was kickin! 
It's really hard to believe that was 60 years ago. The effects of WWII were still very new, urgent, and clear during my youth. My birthday wish is that bigotry, scapegoatism, and of course genocide can someday be just a memory in human history.
